Our first field trip is tomorrow, June 12 and we want YOU to be there.
What is a field trip? Well a SPY field trip is a lot like a school field trip. You don’t really care where you are going, you are just happy to be out of school/the house. So in other words, it’s a mini-mystery.
Meet in the back parking lot of the church behind the activity center. We will leave each time at 10:00 AM and return at 2:00 PM. If you are late, check the back kitchen door, we will leave an envelope with our destination in it for you.
Bring $2 each week and your Field Trip Bag.
What’s a field trip bag?
A field trip bag is the bag that you bring each week during our field trips. All the items you will need for the field trips all summer long will be in there, but you won’t use them each week. For example if I told you to bring your swimsuit this week, you’d know we were doing something involving swimming, but if you have to bring it each week, then it’s all a surprize.
What should be in your Field Trip Bag or on your body?
Clothes you can sweat in
Swimsuit
Favorite Frisbee if you have one
Hat for the sun
Sun Block
Towel
Shoes you can be active in
A Pen
Something Goofy to wear
Put it all in a bag and bring it with you each week.
We will feed you lunch and we will have you back at the church as close to 2:00PM as possible. Both Mid-High and Senior-High are welcome.

Sign-Up Deadline June 25.

Join us on Thursdays throughout the summer for the UN-Study. Make sure you check the calendar to see if we are meeting.
UN-Study is like camp, but it is not. Matter of fact it is not a lot of things. It is not high-tech, trendy, loud, or conventional. It is NOT Like anything you’ve done before.
It is a chance to be REAL with your friends, recognize the presence of God, and grow in community.
Are you ready to UN?
Directions:
Come to Centennial Park behind the Abilene State School. From Maple Street, turn east on S 24th and go to the end of the road. Follow the signs to Oakwood trails. At the fork in the road, follow the sign Centennial Park. You will know you are in the right place when you see the playground. Look for the fish signs for further directions.

Hey everybody! Hope all is well! Just to give you a heads up, St. Paul Youth is going to be working with Habitat for Humanity on June 14 from 9am to Noon. This is a great opportunity to serve both God and the Community. There are a few restrictions that you need to be aware of before I go on.
1. You’ve got to fit within the age groups of 14 – 114
2. You must wear closed toed shoes
3. You can’t be afraid to break a sweat
And that’s it! If you feel like you are able to handle those restrictions, come on out and provide for a family in need! I’d love to see a great turn out to show the community what SPY is all about… so invite your friends and neighbors!
Time and Place
Date: Saturday, June 14, 2008
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Habitat for Humanity Build Site
Street: 973 Minda St.
Blessings,
Zach
SPY is a group of folks who want to get real about God by Knowing God’s Word, Seeking God’s Grace, and Serving God’s People.
